Pastor

Erin Weaver

Erin grew up outside of Benton across from the Meyersick family farm. She enjoyed helping on the farm especially at harvest time. Erin's grandparents (Mildred and Lynn Mitchell) have attended University UMC since 1965 along with her mother (Marsha Meyersick), aunt and uncle. Erin remembers coming to the Mother-Daughter Teas as a child as well as the Fall Festivals. Erin is married to her best friend, Gary, and they live outside of Augusta. Combined they have 3 sons, Justin Gettings, Joshua and Justin Weaver. They keep her busy with Boy Scouts and all the different sports they are involved in. Together they enjoy family movie and pizza night, playing volleyball and tether ball, and just hanging out together. Erin and Gary spend most of their spare time working on their house and taking short weekend trips on their motorcycle. Erin also enjoys photography and sewing with her embroidery machine. In her spare time on Thursday nights, she is involved with feeding homeless people in downtown Wichita with Greenwich UMC. She has a heart to help people and the willingness to volunteer that was passed down from her grandmother.

Secretary/Children's Director

Kylie Jo Jennings

Kylie Jo has been living in Wichita since she was about 5 years old. After being placed in special education programs in her youth, Kylie went on to attend East High School, from whence she graduated with her International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2006. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre and graduated Suma Cum Laude from Wichita State University after four years of training from some of the nation's most gifted professors and performers.

In the church, Kylie has been involved with many ministry efforts and projects. She has traveled to New Orleans with Chapel Hill Fellowship as a part of a large-scale church mission trip. Other than that experience, though, Kylie has tried to keep her hands and feet more locally focused, with organizations such as Open Door Ministries and Building the Circle. At her home church of Epworth UMC, she serves as Lay Leader and also on several committees. But, more importantly, she has been a part of some remarkable and life-changing events in the name of Jesus. She enjoys singing occasionally as a guest soloist or praise band leader for several churches in town. Kylie also performs regionally and locally with professional theatre groups, and continues to keep the performing arts as a vital part of her ministry and life. She will be getting married in March, and looks forward to the journey of life on which she is about to embark!

In all she has done, whether artistically or otherwise, Kylie has tried to show love to those around her in the name and spirit of Christ, and she hopes to succeed in this according to God's great and grace-filled plan.
