Reverend Jo Mead

What an amazing blessing to be serving with the kingdom here in Wichita at University! This faith community is committed to making the world a better place one small action at a time. With this we are involved in many ministries of caring, sharing and hospitality in hope that our shared loved will make a difference.

We are called to live in community together with love, hope and justice for all people. Many people use the term "kin-dom" when discussing living into God's love. I like that. We are all related by a desire for wholeness in our lives and peace to be reality for all of the children in the world. Together we will make a difference in our own homes, communities and states. My husband, Steve, and I are happy to be in Wichita. It is a great community. Steve has a long history with the aviation community. Steve has a long history with the aviation community. We have grown children and are enjoying time with our grandchildren.

If you are seeking a place to call your church home, give us a try. University United Methodist Church is a safe place to ask questions and explore your place in the world. We have a great program for children and youth which meets on Wednesday evenings and on Sundays. Many small groups for adults during the week and on Sundays provide fellowship, outreach and learning together. The music ministry enhances our workshop experiences with weekly anthems and special music for holy days by the Chancel Choir.

May peace be yours,

Rev. Jo Mead
